Shoot/Knife....Is it a punk ass move or a part of the game?

Ok ok.....so there will be some pretty major conflicting views here, but I just want to know what people think about the shoot/knife tactic.
I know some will say it's bullshit to pull out your knife, then go back to gun....I agree with that if you are in a one on one situation, I believe the CS etiquette is if you intend to knife fight, finish it.
BUT!!!!!!..............In the environment of gungame, the intent is to win. Part of that objective is to stop another player from winning. If you shoot a player on knife level then knife him back to nade level, I say.....it's part of the game.
The difference is there was never any intent on 'knifing' it out.
It's frustrating when it happens to you, yeah, but it's part of the game.

Just wanted to hear your opinions on it.

PS. There is no such thing as kill stealing in GG. The point is to rack up kills and win. Should there be a courtesy moment or brief discussion when you round a corner and deliver a heat shot on an opponent that was shot once in the leg by a teammate?

Ok my opinion is that yes in a 1 v 1 where u run up with the intent to knife realize u lost and shoot him your gay and or fake...
But in a regular gg pub it does not matter!!!!!!!!&*!^&^!$!#!!! deal with it that's the way it is 20 people shooting at each other you get 10 seconds to pull something out then good game...

and about kill stealing...

The knife to gun is only done by total DOUCHES. The shoot then knife is totally legit cause knifing is a bitch. KS'ing in gg happens, deal. Also, what panda said, AIM BETTER NOOB!

Well I will pioneer the re education of the CS community and let everyone know that knife shooting makes you a douche and shoot knifing is acceptable to knock someone from knife level and prevent them from winning. I would call it CS defense.
Although, I would argue that shoot knifing during the middle of a round is unnecessary and just being a dick and is sort of douchy?

i dont know if it is unnecessary... but like i say if you can get close enough to someone to be put in that situation its a lesson learned to the person u knifed aim better and you need more practice.... its not like u run out of ammo that often...
i look at gun game as a free for all... BUT last 2 standing one is on knife u pull out ur knife go to fight it out realize he hit u first then u shoot him is a cock move he should of won... OR you should of just shot him in the first place...

I think that during a gg scrim, its a totally exceptable move to shoot knife to help your team win.

As for an actual game, thats a dick move.

As for KS, I agree with Panda, "Hey, I shot him in the head first, deal with it bro."
